Why your $10 matters right now
Section 781 of P.L. 119-37 takes effect December 11, 2026. It redefines legal hemp and caps every finished product at 0.4 mg of total THC per container, a standard nearly every full-spectrum product sold since 2018 cannot meet. Products don't become safer that day. They become illegal.

AHAA is fighting for a different outcome: passage of the Lawful Hemp Protection Act (H.R. 9830), real regulation with real standards instead of a ban written as a number. Regulate it. Don't eliminate it.

Yes. Congress delayed most of Section 781's restrictions from November 12 to December 11, 2026 (H.R. 6500, signed September 2, 2026). One exception: cannabinoids the cannabis plant cannot naturally produce lost federal hemp status on November 12, 2026. State laws may impose earlier or stricter rules.
