$1.00 USD
The American Healthy Alternatives Association (AHAA) is a national 501(c)(6) trade association defending lawful hemp through advocacy, coalition building, and responsible-regulation policy work.
Every contribution counts
The clock is real: Section 781 of P.L. 119-37 takes effect December 11, 2026, and with it a 0.4 mg total-THC-per-container cap that most legal hemp products cannot meet. Your one-time contribution funds the work happening now: advocacy for the Lawful Hemp Protection Act (H.R. 9830), the national petition campaign, and the coalition of state chapters and businesses asking Congress to regulate, not eliminate.
Where does the money go?
Contributions fund AHAA's advocacy programs: engagement with lawmakers, the Action Center that routes constituent messages to Congress, and organizing across state chapters. AHAA is funded by member dues and contributions, and is accountable to a member-elected board.

Frequently asked questions
Is this contribution tax-deductible?
No. Contributions to AHAA, a 501(c)(6) trade association, are not tax-deductible as charitable contributions.
Can my business support AHAA instead?
Yes. Business memberships fund the same fight with member benefits attached. See AHAA's Business Access, Leadership Access, and Founder Access memberships.
What is AHAA fighting for?
Responsible federal regulation of hemp: mandatory testing, honest labeling, child-safe packaging, and age gates, instead of the de facto ban created by the 0.4 mg per-container cap.
Didn't the deadline move?
Yes. Congress delayed most of Section 781's restrictions from November 12 to December 11, 2026 (H.R. 6500, signed September 2, 2026). One exception: cannabinoids the cannabis plant cannot naturally produce lost federal hemp status on November 12, 2026. State laws may impose earlier or stricter rules.
